Top 5 Summer Lipsticks
In honour of my favourite day of the year, National Lipstick Day. I thought it was only right to do a post all about my 5 top summer lipsticks. If you have followed my blog/instagram/twitter for a while, you should know that I'm obsessed with lipsticks and my makeup collection is 95% lip products. I don't know why lipsticks are my favourite, i think it may be because they can transform your look to anything you want it to be a realistically, you can wear any colour that you want. There are no limits with lipstick, but it can instantly brighten up my day and look.

Kat Von D A Go Go Liquid Lipstick is my favourite orange throughout my collection. I love this for the Summer and Spring. Its ultra matte and extremely pigmented. I love wearing this when i just want a boost of colour or just want to wear a lipstick. Although, its pretty drying, the formula lasts for a long time and its the perfect Orange liquid lipstick. I have done a full review here if you want to read it!

Max Factor Pink Brandy is one of my most used lipsticks throughout the collection. Its an amazing summer colour that not too 'in your face'. I love using this for the day time when i want a hint of colour, but nothing thats to bright or in your face. Its a great for both day and evening, depending on what you want and it smells ah-mazing! Literally the smell is incredible and its super moisturising on the lips! What more could you want?!?!

Next up is Tom Ford Wild Ginger. Super luxurious and very creamy. It has a matte finish but it is probably the creamiest matte lipstick I've ever used. A typical blood orange colour which looks amazing with a tan. I love wearing these type of reds and they are my favourite. You could wear this any time of the year and day!

MAC Costa Chic is a beautiful vibrant Coral shade. Pretty much on the border of fluorescent, but the perfect Summer lipstick. Although I'm not too keen on the formula, i don't think this can beat any other colour competing for Summer. I really really really really recommend this for anyone, looks amazing with a tan and

MAC Yash has got to be my favourite natural lipstick at the moment of all times. Its the perfect nude for my skin tone and complexion. I am going to do a full review of it soon, so hang tight and it will be up soon!

So there we go, my top 5 summer lipsticks in honour of National Lipstick Day. I hope you enjoyed and i would love to know your favourite summer lipsticks. Thank you so much for reading and i will see you soon!

New Bedroom Decor

As the middle child, my parents punished me with the small room when we had our extension on the house. It wasn't really a punishment, just more of a ''this is your room because your a messy shit'' type thing.

I think every girl or person wants the perfect bedroom, where they can relax and not have to worry about anything. After having a bright turquoise room, which gave me a headache at the sight of waking up, i decided back last year that i need to have a more 'grown up' room. I have always wanted a white room, but my parents weren't keen on the idea. I can totally see why, but i think it also makes you so much more careful, well it has with me anyway.

When it came to re-designing my room, i wanted that typical pinterest/tumblr look, but with my own twist. I have added pops of colours and print/quotes to make it more me. Its simple, but has my own touches to make it more ''me'' and my style.

Safe to say, I'm besotted with it and although i severely miss my bed, as I'm not at home for a couple of weeks, i am super excited to get back and finally finish it. I really want to do a room tour, so i may do one just to show it in more detail. I haven't missed out alot in this post, but i haven't shown everything.

I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have a bedroom post, i would love to see it!  I love being nosey and looking at other peoples decor styles, great way to get tips and inspiration. Anyway, i hope you enjoyed and have a lovely Sunday evening!

Hourglass Ambient lighing Blush in Dim Infusion
Today i want to talk about a blush. I know exciting. This blush is like no other, in fact, it may be the best blush out in the world. I don't really wear blush because I'm a  tomato face, but this blush is just way to good to even care about the tomato face. They do so much colours in the Ambient Light Blush rang, so you need to check them out asap. Also not relatable, but thank god its Wednesday, only 2 days of work left!

Hourglass is a brand that I've heard so much about, but never actually picked up a product. I have heard lots of bloggers talk about their products and always lusted over how amazing they sound. I bought this back in May and I've only just started to really use it.

This has recently become one of my favourite makeup products throughout my entire collection. I very rarely wear a full face of makeup but when i do, recently, i have been reaching for this blush. I also very rarely use blusher as i have naturally very red cheeks and well face in general. This is so subtle on the skin that you can't actually tell your are wearing blush. Obviously if you pile on layers then it will show, but its so subtle with an amazing sheen it just makes your cheeks look very radiant and blowy.

Its not cheap at £28 for a not very big product, but the texture, packaging, product, colour just everything makes up for it. I am very intrigued to find out what the rest of the products from Hourglass are like and am particularly keen to see what the Ambient Lighting Powders are like!

I hope you enjoyed this short and sweet post. Not every long, but i don't want to ramble on a lllll day and the S Club film is on tele, so i must dash to watch the rest of it. Thank you for reading!

Soap & Glory Archery DIY Brow Bar

My eyebrows are most probably my favourite part of my face. I love how they can completely transform your look and also frame your face. However, I do find them weird. Like, why do we have them? How do we just have 2 sprigs of hair above our eyes? I can't answer the questions, but they are so weird and they just baffle me, but i do love them a lot. Recently, i have been loving the Soap & Glory Archery DIY Brow Bar

I bought this product back in May and I hadn't really heard much about it. It did make me a little bit skeptical and wary, but I gave it a go and low and behold it's my new favourite brow product. Like most of Soap & Glory's products, it's very affordable and the quality is just beyond amazing. I was a big fan of the Archery Brow Tint and Precision Pencil of this, but i just feel this is soooo much more better. For £12, you really can't complain about anything in this palette!

The palette consists of a wax, a brow highlight and 2 brow shadows. I do believe it comes in 2 different shades and I picked up the shade for brunettes. Both of the brow shades are very cool so you don't get the warm pay off with some brow shades. Typically, i use the brown shade, but i occasionally dip into the moss green colour if i want to add more dimension or just run it through the beginning of my brows. I find most eyebrow highlights to be quite obnoxious and in your face, but this one is supper subtle and i love it. It just has a really nice sheen instead of looking like your dipped your eyebrow into glitter. Its a cream product and quite sheer, so its great for everyday. The wax is also really nice. Super creamy and easy to use. I normally don't use a wax because i just find they can make your brows look quite cakey, but this is super creamy and light and helps to stick those wondering hairs down and really help complete the shape of your brows.

Overall, i am obsessed with this product. I can't go a day with out using it and it really is super quick and easy to use. Like Soap & Glory other products, the packaging is super cute and sleek, very bold and eye catching and it has 2 amazing brushes. One is perfect for the wax and the other is great for the shadow and even has a tiny spoolie on the end just to make it that much more easier. I can tell this is going to be my favourite for a while, so i am excited to keep using it until it runs out and then i will have to buy a new one!

I really do recommend this product to everyone and anyone. Even if your not a big eyebrow person, its a great product and super affordable with amazing packaging and more importantly a bloody brilliant product. Ohhh and it also has a mirror, which gives it that extra point! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!

June Favourites

I can't believe that June is over and July is nearly half way through. This year is going unbelievably quick and i am not sure how i feel about it. Today i want to do a very late June Favourites post to show you all of the products I've been loving in June. Most of these have been featured in my Everyday Makeup post, so i won't go into too much detail on them.

First up is the Soap & Glory Archery DIY Brow Bar. I am going to do a full review, so i won't go into to much detail, but this is an amazing product and probably, the best brow product i have in my collection.

Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme is also another product i want to do a full review on. Its such a great product which is light on the skin, but have a nice coverage for everyday use. Not the cheapest, but by far my favourite face product, foundation wise, at the moment.

Sally Hansen Miracle Nail Growth. Until the other day, i was so proud of how much my nails have grown. I then go bored and bite them all but to the original length! I am so angry at myself, but i have started again today and i am determined not to bite them. I always get envious of peoples nail polish colours and designs and nails in general so I just need to think of pretty nails, pretty nails!

Another Soap & Glory product! I am sure you have all heard of One Heck of a Blot! Its the most amazing blotting powder for oily skin. its mattifying so stops you from looking like a disco ball and also helps set makeup very well. I absolutely love this product and have been using it religiously for about 2 years now. I don't think i will ever be changing face powders!

Viktor Rolf Bonbon Perfume is my current favourite perfume. I absolutely love this. I suck at describing scents, so i can only recommend that whenever your near it that you give yourself a spritz and you may see what i mean when i say i love it!

Benefit Rollerlash. Firstly, i really need to get the full size of this! I love this mascara soooooo much! Alongside Benefits other mascaras, its got the most amazing wand and  I'm not a fan of plastic wands. It really grabs every lash and helps a curl stay. Once i have purchased the full size, i will for sure do a review on this!

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is my current favourite bronzer. I actually really like this as it barely shows up on my skin. I find it has more of an orange undertone, but its nice just for adding a subtle wash of colour to the face. I will do a full review on this soon!

Nivea Fruity Shine Peach is my favourite lip product for keeping them hydrated. I never normally bother with keeping my lips hydrated, but i have started and you really can feel the difference after applying it. It sinks in nicely, but still leaves your lips feeling nice and moisturised.

So there we go a very short June favourites, i will have a the reviews of most of the products up very soon! I hope you all enjoyed and thank god its the weekend soon! Thanks for reading

Everyday Makeup

Everyday Makeup
I recently received this makeup bag for my birthday and it inspired me to actually start putting my everyday makeup in a makeup bag. Seems logically right? In light of the recent makeup bag events, it actually made me realise that I don't think I've ever done an everyday makeup post on my blog. So today, as you may have guessed from the title, is all about the stuff that I put on my face to not make me look like a half dead toad.

I am not the biggest foundation wearer, as I like to keep my skin clear and all that malarkey. Basically, I am lazy and can't be bothered. However, if there are days when I perhaps wake up 5 minutes earlier or I look in the mirror and just look like a completely dead toad, then I will reach for my Dior Diorskin Nude BB cream. I recently got this at a Debenhams event and had done a fair amount of research before purchasing. Typical blogger. Safe to say, I love this BB cream. I am not a fan of them normally, but this adds just the right amount of coverage, evens out my blotchy skin tone and just makes my face look more radiant. It's not cheap, retails at £32, but this works wonder for me.

Next up is a product I know I have talked about and one I have been using religiously for about 2 years now. It's the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot powder. Recently my skin has decided to become friends with the oil and they basically like to have a party on my forehead and generally my whole face. Can't say I enjoy this friendship, but this powder calms them down and completely mattifys your skin. Retailing at £12 I will never be changing powder as this stuff seriously doesn't get enough credit.

I really don't understand eyebrows and how you can just have 2 bits of hair on your face, but I also love my eyebrows a lot. I can happily leave the face with no makeup on, but I have to have my eyebrows done. I bought the Sigma Brow Powder last year after hearing lots of youtubers talk about it. This is probably the best eyebrow shadow I have ever used. It's the perfect shade, perfect undertone and just all around perfect. Only downside is that it's a nightmare to get in England and I don't really want to pay ridiculous shipping and custom fees. It's a relatively cheap product and I have just managed to source a UK website which stocks it (linked above). Seriously, everyone needs this product for your eyebrows. You life may be changed for the better. Just saying.

Eyebrow gel is also weird but bloody addictive. I did use this MAC Brow Set which has just run out, but it added a nice colour to the brows and didn't leave them like concrete. I actually don't mind concrete brows, but would prefer them not to be. This is fairly expensive at £14 but it is a good product. Not sure I would repurchase again though.

Eyelash curlers are pretty generic. All do the same thing so can't really give you the low down on them.

Benefit Mascaras are probably my favourite brand of Mascaras. I am currently using both Rollerlash and They're Real and together, they are literally a match made in heaven. They have no faults. Although perhaps, personally I prefer them when they have dried up a little, but that's just me. I honestly can't recommended these enough. I love them and badly need to buy a new Rollerlash as the little sample I have is slowly and I mean slowly coming to the end of its life. Not quite sure you should be able to see the brush under the product? Think that's a sign to get a new one.

So, my everyday makeup face products. I hope you enjoyed and got an insight into the lack off makeup I wear on a daily basis. I actually am not the biggest fan of wearing makeup full stop, but people will be scarred if I don't so I have to make a little effort. Thank you for reading!

Summer Essentials

Summer essentials
Hello everyone, hope you are all well! I am writing this post on the hottest year of the week and yet I'm stuck in the office besides today to enjoy this beautiful weather. I can't actually believe it's so bloody hot this week, but no doubt it will be raining by next week party pooper I know

Today i wanted to discuss with you some of my Summer Essentials. I don't have to many, but i religiously use the ones i do have and personally, i would rather have a few less that i use constantly, rather then loads then i never actually get round to using.

Lets start of with the main essential for me. Hayfever. As must as love Summer, i also dread the runny nose, itchy eyes and sleepless nights. This year, my hay fever has been horrific and even worse in the night. Every year, i have a 50/50 chance as to whether its bad or not, but this year, its been a nightmare. I swear by hay fever tablets and eyedrops every morning and god forbid if i forget!

This year, my Ray Ban Wayfarers have been getting alot of use. I always wear them on my way to work and on my way home and just if I'm out and about. I received these last year from my sister for my 21st, and they literally, do not leave my side.

My Summer scent this year is Viktor & Rolf BonBon. Before purchasing this, i got a sample and i was sold. I very nearly bought it at the airport back in May, but ended up not buying it. Instead i bought it on Boots that way i can top up my advantage points at the same time. Its a very sweet scent and i absolutely love it! I will do a full review on this very soon!

Next up is my Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream. My skin has taken a turn for the worst recently and become a combination of oily and dry. I am not quite sure whats happened, but this moisturiser is my current favourite. Its so light on the skin, yet sinks in quickly and i can instantly feel my skin drinking it up. Also such a good price for a bloody good product!

Nivea Lips Fruit Shine Peach has been my favourite lip product for moisturising. I never really bother with my lips and keeping them hydrated i know, i should, but this product is amazing. I mean, okay, it smells like the peach petit filous yogurt, which is my absolute favourite, but its super moisturising and keep your lips hydrated. What more can you need?!?

Of course, i could leave out a lipstick and a bright one at that. I haven't actually worn any lipsticks so far this Summer, but if i am going to, i am going straight to MAC Barbecue. This was in a limited collection, so I'm not sure if you can get it anymore. Its the perfect red-orange lipstick and its also matte, which is my favourite formula. Such a bright colour and also such cute packaging!

Finally, is most probably my faouvirte product, Sally Hansens Miracle Nail Growth. I am currently on the biggest mission to grow my nails and ever since I've been using this, my nails have grown so much! I am so happy with how they are progressing. I still get the urge to pick them every know and them, but i resist and think of the end results!

So there we are, my current summer essentials. I should most probably include a fan into it, considering this heatwave we are experiencing, but I've not real used it too much! Anyway, i hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!
