21st Birthday Wishlist

Hello everyone, i hope you are all well. I thought i would do a 21st birthday wish list post today. I turn 21 exactly 2 weeks from today and i am so scared. I am terrified about getting older, i know 21 isn't even old, but it just makes me realise how quickly life is going. I still act like I'm 5 let alone 21. Anyway, I feel a bit weird writing this, because i actually do not want anything nor am i expecting anything from anyone, as I've told my family and friends not to bother. There is nothing i desperately want nor do i need. I am one of those people that if i see it, i will buy it there and then, so thats why i don't need anything. I have enough stuff already, so i don't feel like i need to add more to it, i would rather my parents and friends save their money and not waste it on me. With all of this being said, these items are products that i will most probably end up buying regardless of it being my birthday or not.

1. The Mulberry Willow Bag. Holy smoke balls, i would cry if i received this and i know that 1000000% i won't be getting this bag, but it is absolutely beautiful. I choose the grey colour, because Grey does go with everything and i feel its not the obvious choice, where as black and tan are. I would have perhaps gone for a colour one, but i decided not to as i think your very restricted in what you wear then. I am stupidly fussy when it comes to bags, so i tend to stick to buying them myself as opposed to asking as them for a gift, but seeing as I've put a picture here, if my mum and dad do decide to buy this for me  i already know its a no, at least they know which one.

2. Audi A1. Another present which i will not be getting but i think these cars are so cute and just look amazing. I wold have to sell both my kidneys to be able to even pay for the insurance let alone the actual car, but i can just stare at others people and be stupidly jealous.

3. Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow. I have featured these in a couple of posts before and they intrigue me so much. I have no idea how they work, but they look amazing. Of course, this one is in comex gold and is beautiful. The only problem with Stila is it is pretty hard to get hold of in the UK, but I've seen in on the Boots website a couple of times, so perhaps boots now stock it. there goes all the money i don't have if  they do..... I personally feel these are overpriced for what they are at £33.50 for a pot, but its still beautiful and i still want it.

4. Tom Ford Sculpt & Illuminate. I love contouring and who wouldn't love contouring and highlighting with Tom Ford. not me. This is crazy expensive £55 ouch, but its a cream and i really want to try cream contouring as it looks amazing on peoples videos I've seen.

5. By Terry Ombre Blackstar. If you haven't heard of these recently, you must of been living under a rock. I am desperate for one of these it is slightly ridiculous. They come in beautiful range of colours and are pretty much cream eyeshadows in a stick form. what more do you need in life. At £28 per stick, overpriced - yes, do i still want one? of course i do. Typically the shade i want brown perfection is out of stick on Space NK online.

6. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I have wanted a pot of this even before she bought out her makeup range and now its out, i kinda want it that little bit more. I have heard amazing things and i am intrigued to see whether it will improve my crappy skin at the moment. At £70 yes you heard me right, I'm 100% i won't be receiving this. From anyone.

7. Charlotte Filmstar Bronze & Glow. I have seen Charlotte use this in her videos and it looks incredible. I am loving bronzers and bronzing at the moment and believe or not, i only have 1 bronzer and thats in my Nars palette. I am pretty certain its a matte bronzer, but i could be wrong. Again at a pain steakingly £49, i know i won't be getting this either.

8. Zoeva Rose Gold Luxery Brush Set. I am not sure i even need to tell you why i need this. I mean, lets just look and them. Now you see why i want them. They are £53.50 for 8 brushes, which is bloody amazing.  i would do the maths and work out the price per brush, but I'm not that sad..... its £6.70. I have heard great things once again and my brushes are looking a bit scatty, so am in need of some new ones.

9. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush. Just look at it. Why wouldn't you want that on your face. Thats enough for me. Again, these are £28 and i would go for the coral shade obviously and they are so beautiful that i don't care if they are bad, it looks nice.

10. Rayban Wayfarer. I actually have already got these as my sister bought me them the other day. i can't have them until my birthday though.... not fair. I never thought wayfarers would suit me, but these look nice. I think black ones look to harsh, so i opted for the Turtle shell ones and i think they suit my skin colour alot more. These were £125 and i can't wait to get them!!

All in all, i think i will end with 1 of this post and that is the sunglasses which i already have. Like i said, i not bothered about presents, but these are just a few items i would like and will most probably buy regardless. maybe not the car or bag though. need to start saving. oh and get a job. I hope you liked this post and thank you for reading!

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I am so incredibly bored i thought i would write  a review post today on another lip product. i need to stop buying lip products. I would love to be outside right now, but my poor car failed its MOT, so i literally can't go anywhere which is SOOOOO annoying and frustrating! Anyway, enough of my rants, lets get writing and raving!

I am sure that most of you will have herd of the Kat Von D makeup range in Sephora. I used to watch LA ink, so i knew who she was before she released her makeup line. I had heard alot of good things about the range and the foundation and eyeshadow palettes. I had obviously never picked anything up before because in the UK we don't have a sephora. I believe that the Kat Von D makeup range is not available in the UK. However, i did a sneaky Sephora order a couple of weeks back and this beauty kept on popping up, so i took it as a sign and it was the last thing to go in my basket. i also can't buy any makeup product without buying a face, eye and lip product. its awful. anyone else have that problem?

Ive always had a love hate relationship when it comes to liquid lipsticks. I find the Rimmel Apocalips a little bit to awkward to put on and they don't really last that long, then the Sleek Matte Me, i loved but i had an allergic reaction to it, so my lips looked liked i had botox and went all lumpy, but that was a great product. Having only worn this for a good 4 hours, i know that i am going to love it. Its a matte formula but goes on as a gloss then dries matte. I tried to take this off the other day just by rubbing it with a towel. Oh. My. God. It literally didnt move. I got a little bit off, but it was on my lips for the long run. When i tried to take it of with a makeup wipe, i still struggled a bit and found it hard. The staying power is unlike anything I've seen before, its amazing. The colour is absolutely amazing. I have been after a proper orange lip product for a while now, but the drugstores only seem to do red-oranges, nothing that is a actual Orange. I know that most of the higher end brands do, but weirdly enough, I've never picked one up. I am in love with the colour, i think its the perfect orange, thats got a hint of neon within, but nothing too bright. I think this will certainly be the summer lip product for me. As for the texture, they are very creamy and pigmented. You only need a tiny amount on the applicator, as a little certainly goes a very long way. When it fires to a matte formula on your lips, it doesn't feel like you've got anything on your lips. Its certainly not drying and feels very light-weight. I think this is probably the best lip laquer I've ever tried and i will certainly be buying some more and trying more her makeup range! I think the $19 so around £11 which is amazing in my opinion.

So yes, my new favourite lip product has arrived and i can't wait to wear this. I do apologise for looking half dead in the pictures, but i really can't be bothered to put makeup on today, so thats my excuse haha. I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you would like to please vote for my blog in the Cosmo Blog Awards as the Next 'Best Newcomer Blog'. I will link it here and if you do, i owe you BIG time! Thank you for reading and have a lovely day! Zoe xx

Beauty Wishlist #2

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. Today i thought i would write a blogpost all about my current lusts. I have done another one of these before and it went down pretty well, so i thought i would do one again. I always tend to do these when i have no money, so maybe thats a good thing, then i can't buy any of it. can't wait till my first pay check booyah....

1. Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer. I have heard so much about this and it has made me very intrigued as to what its like. Ive heard its gone an unusual texture and this makes me even more intrigued to try it. However this may sound amazing and even look amazing, the price however is not that amazing. At £52 let me just cry this doesn't come cheap at all and I'm not prepared to spend that much money on something, i may not even like. I know they do a smaller version, but i think its still £30 which is cray cray for a min version.

2. Maybelline Colour Tattoo Pigments. I absolutely love the cream eyeshadows from Maybelline and have recently been loving pigments. I reallllllyyyyyy want to try these but you can't get them in the UK which is sooo frustrating and annoying really annoys how USA get stuff before the UK WHYY?!?!?! I think these are around $7, so if they came to the UK i bloody hope they do, i reckon they would be around £6-8, which is fairly good in price.

3. NYX Butter Gloss. Ive never tried anything from NYX and have heard so much about them. All of the american you tubers who i watch constantly rave about there products and in particular Sarahbellex. I have been watching her videos for years and she's always loved them. I can't remember what video it was but she raved about these which has made me want to try them ever since. Again, I'm not sure the UK sell NYX, but fingers crossed if i go to NYC later int the year, i can pick some up along with everything else and the whole of sephora....

4. NYC Soft Matte Cream Again, heard about these from Sarahbellex and they sound fairly similar to the Sleek Matte Me, which i loved, but made my lips look like i had botox. Not ideal. I have been loving liquid lipsticks recently and am certainly wanting to pick up some more.

5. Benefit Cream Eyeshadow. Been loving cream eyeshadows recently and have never tried them. Ive swatched them and they seem very creamy and very pigmented. Of course, i want all the neutral shades, but in particular the shade 'bronze have more fun'. I think the name says it all really, its a bronze shade surprised are we.. I think i may put this on my 21st birthday list. its the only thing on my birthday list too...
*After swatching these the other day in store, i decided they are a definite no, they are so un creamy and stupidly hard to blend. not ideal..*

6. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush. I think every blogger and their pet snail has heard of these blushers. i used to have 3 pet giant african snails. i was young. If you know me, orange and coral are my favourite colours, so when it comes to lip products and blushers, these are the colours i tend to go for. This is only because i like them and also they suit my skin tone better then pinks. These don't come cheap, but the packaging is oh-so-beautiful as is the product inside. Im not a blusher fan, but this is on another level, so i maybe able to let it pass.

7. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. Again, another product everyone has heard of. I very nearly picked one of these up in my recent sephora order video coming soon i promise. I don't know why i didnt, possibly because the shade i wanted was out of stock, but I've heard lots of good things about this, so i just have to try it.

8. Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Powder Foundation. Ive really only heard Estee and Amelia talk about this product. I most probably shouldn't try it as i have dry skin, but i was thinking more like a powder rather then a foundation. Just to add a bit more coverage, when needed. I know Tarte has released a few products into the UK, but i am unsure as to where and what as i know its a deleted range. it could possibly be QVC, that rings a bell.

9. Naked 3 Palette. When this came out, i said to myself 'Zoe, you don't need this. You don't use the other Naked palettes, so you certainly don't need this one. Plus you would never wear it as its pink based'. All of that being said. Ive decided i do actually need it. Only because, i have brown eyes and this would make them pop more. thats a valid excuse right???

10. Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eyeliner Trio. Again another USA based brand that doesn't sell in the UK. so annoooyyyiiinnnggggggg. I have heard a lot about these and I'm in need of some more eyeliners and i believe are fairly cheap and good quality, so they seem like they fit the bill!

11. MAC Morange Lipstick. I honestly do not know why i haven't bought this yet, but its seems i haven't. I am loving orange lipsticks at the moment and this is the most well known one which i need to buy. I most probably don't need, but i want it so that counts right?

12. Hourglass Opaque Rough Liquid Lipstick. Oh look another Orange based lip product. there seems to be a running theme here...... These are pretty expensive, but along with everything else on this post, I've heard many good things and its just a product that i need/want to try. don't need to but i shall. I definitely do not need another orange/red lip product as i think i have a enough to supply me for a good 3 years, but this could be the best one ever.

So here you go, my current beauty wish list, of course there is still more that i could add to this, but at this moment in time i can't think of anything else that I'm after. can not believe I've just said that. I am certainly going to be buying some of these and some from my other beauty wish list when i get my first pay check, so expect an update on that situation soon. I hope you enjoyed and i can't believe how painfully close i am too 500 followers. THIS IS MADNESS!! Its crazy, but i love you all and want to give you all a massive hug and lots of presents. money is an object in this equation though.
Also i would love if you could vote for my blog as 'Best Newcomber Blog' in the Cosmo Blog Awards. You can vote for my blog here and i will love you forever if you do! Thank you for reading and do let me know whats on your current beauty wish list!

Home Decor Wish List

Hello everyone, i hope you are all well. Ive just filmed Sundays video and i thought i would finish of this post. I am so excited about this one, as I've become a bit of a Home Decor freak at the moment and can't wait to re-decorate my room!

First of is the cracked effect glass jar. I love this and think this would be amazing for makeup brushes. I currently put mine in a rustic tin, but its a really big tin, so they look a bit funny just sitting in there with loads of room left. I think this would be perfect and its only £6 from Sainsburies. Who would have thought Sainburys would do the nicest homeware!

Next up is the cute little Daisy Jar. This is adorable. I have no idea what i would put in it. Maybe hairbands or cotton wool, which i think its meant to be used for. This is from a cute little online shop called Gift and Pieces and is only £6.95. That is an absolute bargain. Am certainly going to be picking this up when its back in stock.

Next up is the infamous Malm Dressing table from Ikea. I have a pretty small room, but i think this would be the perfect desk to complete it. I have wanted a desk for ages and this is the perfect one. So simple, sleek and modern and i can store my copious amounts of makeup in it and on top of it. What more could you want?!?

These 3 wire heart baskets are super cute for storing little bits and bobs in and could look amazing on my window sill. You get 3 within the set and they look amazing. I am going for a shabby chic, yet modern look and these are/ would be a perfect addition. Its £15 for 3, which i think is incredibly good!

I am sure every blogger and their pet goldfish has either got one of these or heard or seen them. The Skurar plant pots are the perfect brush holders. I love these soooo much and won't one of every different style. They are super cute and also incredibly cheap at £2 a pot or more depending on the size, but still ah-mazing!

Next up is this cute little glass heart bowl. I am pretty sure this is meant for food purposes, but i think it could be used for absolutely anything. I think it would be perfect for putting my watch and jewellery in as I'm always losing them and this would be the perfect way to keep them safe and not on my bedroom floor......

I definitely saved my favourite till last. I literally can not contain myself when i look at this White Tin Heart Jug. Oh my goodness, its literally adorable. I want it so badly, its a joke. Its the most perfect flower holding jug ever and will make my room complete. My sister thinks I'm an absolute weirdo, but i don't care. Its only £10 from Sainsburys and my local Sainsburys stock it, so I'm definitely going to have to buy it very soon!

There you have my current home decor wish list. I absolutely loved writing this and will certainly be doing lots more of these. I can't believe how nice Sainsburys homeware is, i will certainly be picking some of it up and its amazing at some amazing prices! Also i have decided to enter the Cosmo Blog Awards this year as 'Best Newcomer Blog' and it would mean the absolute world to me if you could vote for my blog. The link is here, if you want to vote for me. Also my bloglovin, is now working hallelujah. So you can follow me blog via here if you would like too! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading and have a good weekend!

Cosmo Blog Awards

Hello everyone, i hope you are all well. Today is a short and snappy post. I don't want to bore you or annoy you, as I'm sure you will have seen 3024934039843 of these posts.

I am sure you are all aware that the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards voting has started with this year. With this being said, i have decided to enter. I didn't know whether to because honestly, i know i won't win and no one will most probably vote for me, but I'm giving it a shot. I have decided to put myself in the 'Best Newcomer Category'. Some of you who have been here for a while, may be thinking, but your not a new blog. This blog, i have now is entirely new and i deleted the old one, so technically i have only been blogging since September last year, as the old blog is no where to be found and neither are any of my old posts. However, if you don't want to vote for me in that category then 'Best New Beauty Blog' is one I'm going for too.

Like i said, i doubt i will get 10 votes let alone 3, but i would love to be given the chance to win. In blogging, i don't believe for it to be all about numbers. I think its about the person who writes and their passion, time, money and effort they put into their blog. I have put so much of that in and even though i don't post often, it still takes me a good, 3-4 to make everything perfect for the post, including pictures etc. If i got the opportunity to go and even just meet other bloggers, i think firstly i wold cry and secondly, it would be a massive confidence booster for me as I'm not confident, I don't really talk to other people, so this would be a good good up the ass to be perfectly honest.

So, if you do want to vote for me you can do so at for the Best Newcomer Blog or at for Best New Beauty Blog.

Please let me know if you do vote, as i will have to say thank you a million times :)

Tanya Burr Lipgloss

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I am super excited to write this post today as I've tried to film a video about it 3 times now and its just not worked, sooooo a blog post is being written instead. Lets hope this one works better instead.

I am sure you all know who Tanya is and have heard of her recently new makeup collection. I don't know what came over me or what mood i was in, but i somehow managed to order all of her lip glosses. Now, i don't really like lip glosses, but holy macaroons, i am now a lip gloss convert. I would love to try the nail-polishes, but i don't have any nails to do so. need to start growing them and not biting them....

Lets start with the colour range. I am seriously impressed that there is something for everyone in this collection. You have a good shade of nudes, pinks and brights which i believe caters for anyone and everyone. I also love how some of them are most sheer then others, so you can choose between a more opaque or sheer look on the lips. The best bit is that they smell like strawberry chewits. Who doesn't want a product that smells like strawberry chewits. it did take me a good hour to figure this smell out. The texture of the glosses is something i was a bit worried about because most of the ones I've tried have been like glue on your lips. not ideal. These, however are not like glue, but are like butter. Extremely soft and smooth, not lumpy in the slightest and incredibly moisturising. When i first applied these, my lips where sooooo dry, but now they aren't and I've not touched any vaseline or lip moisturising product apart from these.

The nudes contain most of my favourite colours. I am not normally a big fan of nudes, but i absolutely love these. They are super natural and are perfect for both daytime and night time. Just peachy is a gorgeous light peachy nude with a hint of pink. I think this would look amazing in the evening with a smokey eye. Next is Chic, which i believe is the perfect nude for me. Its got more of a yellow undertone which suits my skin tone better and is the perfect 'my lips but better' shade for me. Afternoon tea is also a lovely 'my lips but better' colour for people. I do use this also as a 'my lips but better' colour as it works so well and contains more pink. Finally Champagne toast is almost clear with hints of glitter within in it. Its a great day time gloss if you don't want anything too dramatic.

The pinks within the collection are most probably the ones which will get the least wear. I tend to stay clear from pink as to be honest, it scares me. However, these pinks are super wearable as you can see. Aurora is such a natural pink which i think would be a great everyday pink colour, if you want to do a subtle wash of colour. Smile, dream, sparkle is almost similar to Champagne Toast, but its got a pink undertone with pink and blue glitter reflexes in it. First date is a colour that i wouldn't wear that often as its so pale which i think doesn't suit me. However, a light wash which is blended out is actually really nice and super wearable and i think this would look so nice in the evening with a dark eye. Picnic in the Park is my favourite out of the pink bunch. A nice wash of colour, but i think its a more corally pink which is my favourite colour. Super nice and the perfect spring/summer colour.

Finally we have the brights in the collection. Again these are also some of my favourites as i love colour and bright lips. First of Lets Travel The World is possibly my favourite throughout the entire collection. Its the most perfect sheer coral red and i love it so much. I can already tell this is going to be my summer lip product already. Heart Skipped A Beat is a lovely sheer cherry red with glitter in. Perfect for a wash on the lips if you don't want a full on red lip, or would look really good over a red lip. Exotic Island is a bright blue toned fuchsia pink, but comes out as a more sheer finish. I love this shade and really reminds me of MAC rebel which i love. Finally Vampire Kiss is the most amazing deep red ever. I have nothing like this in the whole of my lip collection. hard to believe as i own a stupid amount of lip products. Its a beautiful deep red with blue undertones and it is super opaque.

In terms of how long they last, i find them to last about 4 to 5 hours with out touching up, but if you wanted to colour to stay longer then it would be around 2/3 hours, which i believe is a good lasting time. The moisture i find lasts longer and i love this as your lips are super moisturised all the time. When they wear off, they go slowly and evenly, so they don't separate and seep into all the cracks and crevasses of your lips, which no one likes. aint nobody got time for dat. I also find that they also help to make my lips look a bit bigger. Nothing too dramatic to look like you've had botox gone wrong, but just a little to make them look more plump and juicy, which is perfect for me, as my top lip is pretty much non existent.

Overall, for £6.99, i can't write down in words how impressed i am, from the smell to the texture to the pigments, they are incredible and i have worn them everyday since. My favourite shades are Lets Travel The World, Chic and Just Peachy. I love them all and can tell they are going to be used and loved very well. You can order these from Superdrug, Feel Unique and also buy them in selected superdrug stores i believe. I hope you have enjoyed this post. I have also decided to enter the Cosmo Blog Awards this  year. I doubt i will win, but if you could spare a minute to vote for my blog as the Best Newcomer Blog i would be so grateful and it would mean the absolute world to me. The link is here Please let me know if you do vote for me :) Thank you so much for reading and apologies that there is no video today, my microphone wasn't working in all of the 3 videos i recorded, so will be up hopefully on wednesday. Have a lovely day :) Zoe xxx
